Mau-Mau online, just the way you know it
Here you can play Mau-Mau online, directly in your browser. The rules are the familiar ones: Play a card with the same suit or the same rank. The first player to run out of cards wins. If you cannot play, you draw a card. If it fits, you may play it immediately.
The game is played with a classic deck: Clubs, Spades, Hearts, and Diamonds, from 7 to Ace. So you will feel right at home.
Special cards: 7, 8, and Jack
The 7 makes the next player draw two cards. They can counter with a 7, then it becomes four. The 8 makes the next player skip a turn. The Jack always fits, and you get to choose a suit.
Play with friends via link
You can play solo against three computer opponents. Or you can open a Mau-Mau room and invite friends via link. Up to six people fit at one table.
Important: Press "Mau!" on your second-to-last card. If you forget and someone catches you, you get two penalty cards. If you play a card that does not fit, you get one penalty card. You decide for yourself which card fits.
You can practice at your own pace against the three computer opponents before challenging your friends.
Points, Top 10, and free to play
A victory brings 100 points plus 5 points for each card the other players still have in hand. 2nd place receives 50 points. Your points put you on the daily Top 10.
Mau-Mau runs free of charge on mobile and computer. You need no registration and no download. You save your score with a magic word – without email and without a name.
