My mission

Software has cost
money for
long enough.

Simple software costs almost nothing to run today. So it shouldn't cost you anything either. Games and tools, free for everyone – with more added every month.

Only things with ongoing costs, like AI, cost a few cents here. Far less than with the big tech guys.

And if it doesn't exist yet, you'll soon build it yourself: just tell me what you need. No coding skills needed.

Everyone enjoys great software for free. Anyone can build their own.

Picture puzzle with zoom

Zoom-Held is a picture puzzle. The image starts zoomed in and blurry. Gradually, it becomes clearer. Recognize it before it's sharp – the faster, the more points.

You choose what you want to guess: flags, country outlines, clubs, Bundesliga pros, soccer stars, celebrities, Instagram stars, cities, stadiums, skyscrapers, bridges, mountains, volcanoes, islands, and rivers. One category or several mixed.

Harder round by round

Each round has five pictures and a target score. If you reach the target, you advance to the next round. There, the picture zooms in faster, starts closer, and the answers are closer together. If you miss the target, the run is over.

Three hits in a row earn a bonus, as does every completed round. Your best run counts towards the leaderboard under "More" – today and all-time.

Guess the clubs

In the Clubs category, Zoom-Held shows you fan photos, stadiums, jerseys, flags, and choreographies of German clubs. The images come from open sources like Wikimedia Commons, with author and license credits on the image.

Countries and outlines

The Outlines category shows you countries as silhouettes. The first rounds feature the world's largest countries, followed later by smaller countries, the German federal states, and US states.

Game night on the TV

For an evening with family and friends: Open the game night on your TV or laptop. Everyone scans the QR code with their phone and joins immediately.

The picture starts zoomed in and blurry. Whoever guesses correctly first gets the most points. The categories are the same as in the single-player game. I host with my voice.

Free and No Registration Required

Zoom-Held runs in your browser, on mobile and computer. The quiz is free, and you don't need an account. You can save your game progress with a magic word – no email, no name required.

Zoom-Held is part of with Klaus, where you will find more quiz and puzzle games.

Where can you play picture puzzles online?
