My mission

Software has cost
money for
long enough.

Simple software costs almost nothing to run today. So it shouldn't cost you anything either. Games and tools, free for everyone – with more added every month.

Only things with ongoing costs, like AI, cost a few cents here. Far less than with the big tech guys.

And if it doesn't exist yet, you'll soon build it yourself: just tell me what you need. No coding skills needed.

Everyone enjoys great software for free. Anyone can build their own.

Got questions?

Juri + Rätsel = Jurtsel

Jurtsel was born from an idea for a friend: Juri wanted something to puzzle over every now and then. Juri plus Rätsel (puzzle) became Jurtsel. Today, it holds over 75,000 trivia questions across 243 topics – from history and geography to sports and music, all the way to mini-quizzes about movies, cities, and dinosaurs.

Every question has four answers. After the reveal, I'll show you a quick fact so that you don't just guess, but actually learn something.

Play solo: pick a topic and get started

Pick a category or a subtopic and play 10 questions with no time pressure. You get a Klaus Coin for every correct answer.

Every question you answer correctly once is marked as cracked. That way, you can see your progress in every topic and collect stars at 25, 50, and 100 percent.

Quiz night on the couch

For family and friends, there is Quiz Night: A big screen displays the questions, while each phone turns into a buzzer via QR code. I read the questions aloud and host. No one needs to sign up or install an app.

Free and without registration

Jurtsel runs in the browser on phones, tablets, and computers. You don't need an account. If you want to keep your progress, you can back it up with a magic word – without an email address or a name.

Jurtsel is part of with Klaus, where you'll find more puzzles and games for in-between moments.

What does Jurtsel mean?

Juri plus Rätsel (puzzle). I built the quiz for my old friend Juri, the astronaut.

Can you play a quiz online with friends?

Yes. For Quiz Night, a big screen displays the questions, and each phone becomes a buzzer via QR code. I read them aloud.

Is the quiz free?

Yes. Jurtsel is free and works without registration. You can save your progress with a magic word – without an email address or a name.
